Hello students and parents, welcome to my blog! My name is Donald Miller and I am student teaching this semester in attempt to gain my English Education degree from Illinois State University. While at ISU I also earned an endorsement in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
This blog is designed as a way to establish and maintain communication with students in my class as well as their parents. Below you will find links that consist of my Educational Philosophy, Contact Information, Resources for Parents, and Community Involvement opportunities.
I feel these are important aspects to help the students in my class succeed academically, as well as resources and links to succeed socially. Volunteering is an integral part to passing my class and 10 volunteer hours are required as a grade. Below are some links to organizations students can volunteer with, however, feel free to look into other organizations.
